People in Pizza Slice Costumes Becoming Pizzas

Of all the great ideas we've had at PPLP while diligently pretending to be working, this one somehow eluded us. Poor people love pointless, oddball concepts. They also love summer Fridays. Goodbye workweek, hello [moderate] fun [via frugal spending].

This is a very real and frightening phenomenon. In 1987, I dressed, for Halloween, as a "white slice." And while a number of my friends that night called me "home slice," none knew of the significant damage I had done to my cellular structure.
Even with the help of two neurobiologists, a virologist, and Deacon Phil, who was working on the Human Genome Project for the Vatican, it was not until Thanksgiving weekend that the last of my toes turned back into skin, leaving the last of the ricotta behind.
Beware.
